Winter sports in The United States
Not everybody immediately thinks of The United States when they think about winter sports, and many don’t know that The United States has the most beautiful winter sports areas in the world.
The most famous place is Aspen in Colorado, a romantic city with many old buildings. The city is located in the midst of the Rocky Mountains. Big Sky is a very comprehensible village that is located at the foot of mountain Montana. In the village centre is a large square where people of all ages can enjoy themselves. You can also book a ton of excursions here like; tubing, ziplining, or sleigh riding. With multiple bars and restaurants, you also have enough options for après-ski.
The best winter sports destination of North America is located in National Forest. Snowbird and Akta Ski Area form a wonderful winter sport destination together. At the height of almost 2500 meters this is the most guaranteed snow destination of North America. With about 12.5 metres of snowfall a year this is heaven for winter sports enthusiasts. Around the village are a lot of granite mountain tops, so a bit of winter sports experience is kind of a requirement.
